Recovering

So much has happened in the last couple of weeks that I do not know what to post. I will try to be brief.

On October 8th I was hospitalized. My catheter got infected. It was sending germs all throughout my body. Luckily, I made it to the hospital that night. My blood pressure was so low and my temperature was so high (and that is just the half) that I would have been in big trouble if I did not get care. The nurses and doctors did an outstanding job. I am now home recovering.

I am still a little tired. I gained 43 pounds in the hospital in one week and lost 40 pounds out of the hospital the next week. My legs looked like tree trunks and my ankles were so swollen. You could not see the bone. I could not wear sneakers. Now I am skinny again. What a life!

I am doing much better than I was two weeks ago, and on Wednesday I have my 35th birthday to celebrate.
