Transplant Update
The transplant update is, there is no transplant scheduled for right now. I may have to wait a few months. The doctors think at this point it is more of a risk than a benefit right now. Transplants are really tricky. It is very important for your body to be prepared for such a big adjustment to your body. They make you sicker than any chemo, plus you have the concern of graft vs. host disease, that can potentially kill you and you run a risk of your counts not recovering. Counts are your red blood cells that ultimately give you energy, your platelets that heal you and your neutrophils that fight off disease.

Funny too me because when my mother had her brain surgery, Pernell & my sister were in the room talking about me, they thought she was sleeping & when I came to visit her she opened her eyes & said "Pernell & Sissy were talking about you". They were sooooo...surprised neither one of them knew what too say. Now that was funny!!!
Interesting too me because working in the medical field I feel like they should know better & I wonder what have they said about other patients that are really sleeping. Hmmmm!!!!
Cool to me because no matter what they say God has blessed you too still be here skinny & all!!!
