I am seriously considering changing my diet and lifestyle as my last post suggests. I have been doing a lot of research. I started changing my diet last week. But why? Modern medicine has the solution. There is still more chemo and new chemo to come. Although, my bone marrow transplant has been postponed, there is always a chance to do that in the future. That may be true in 60% 30% or 5% of the cases studied, but not 100%. Why not try.
God has given us everything we need to be healthy. Should we take it for granted? We take in foods we do not need, and then look to hospitals for help. Hospitals are full of trained, certified, well-qualified individuals that have solutions to many problems. Remember Polio. However, they do not have every solution. For those concerned, I am moving towards a strict diet, exercise and spirit-based approach to my disease. I am returning to work (part-time), and almost eliminating meat and cooked foods from my diet.
That sounds ambitious, but so was staying in the hospital for weeks hooked up to a machine that was pumping toxins in your blood stream and causing you to be weak, unattractive, and more sick than you were before going in the hospital. After all of that, you end up fighting the same disease again and going through the same process which lasts for months. I really have nothing to loose at this point and everything to gain.
